Organization Settings
Manage your organization name, domain, and logo.
Organization settings let Admins and Owners update the core identity of your Joyous workspace — the organization name, domain, and branding. Regular Members can view these settings but cannot edit them.
Editing organization details
Open Settings → Organization to view and manage your org.
Organization name
The org name appears throughout Joyous — in the sidebar, on invite pages, in the settings modal, and anywhere the organization is referenced. Admins and Owners can update it at any time.
Open Settings → Organization
Navigate to the Organization tab in the settings modal.
Edit the Organization Name field
Type the new name. For example, change "Acme Corp" to "Acme Engineering."
Save
Changes are saved when you confirm. The new name propagates across the app immediately.
Domain / website
The domain field stores your company's website (e.g., "acme.com"). This was set during onboarding and can be updated here. The domain is displayed on the organization settings page and helps identify your workspace.
Regular Members see the Organization tab as read-only — they can view the org name and domain but cannot edit them. Only Admins and Owners have edit access.
Role requirements
| Setting | Who can edit | |---------|-------------| | Organization name | Admin, Owner | | Domain / website | Admin, Owner |
If you're a Member and need to update organization settings, ask an Admin or Owner to make the change, or request a role upgrade from Settings → Members.
Keep your organization name concise and recognizable. It shows up in invite pages ("You've been invited to Acme Corp") and helps new members confirm they're joining the right workspace.
