Favorites
Star items for quick access from the sidebar.
Favorites give you instant access to the outcomes, teams, and sprints you use most. Star an item and it appears in the Favorites section at the top of your sidebar — no scrolling, no searching, just one click to get where you need to be.
Starring items
You can star three types of entities:
- Outcomes — Star outcomes you're actively tracking or accountable for
- Teams — Star your primary team for quick navigation
- Sprints — Star the current sprint you're working in
To star an item, click the star icon in the header of any outcome, team, or sprint detail page. The star toggles between filled (favorited) and outline (not favorited).
The Favorites section
Starred items appear in the Favorites section at the top of the sidebar, above the Teams list. Each favorite shows:
- The item's icon (custom icon for teams, default icon for outcomes and sprints)
- The item name
- A link to its detail page
Click any favorite to navigate directly to it.
Keep your Favorites lean — 3 to 5 items is the sweet spot. Too many favorites defeats the purpose of quick access. Star what you need this week, and unstar items when they're no longer active.
How favorites are stored
Favorites use a hybrid persistence model — they're stored locally in your browser and synced to ensure they persist across sessions. This means:
- Favorites are personal to you — other team members have their own
- They persist between page refreshes and browser restarts
- They're available immediately without a server round-trip
Removing favorites
To unstar an item, navigate to its detail page and click the star icon again to toggle it off. The item disappears from your Favorites section immediately.
Favorites are also available as a filter in your Inbox — filter by Favorites to see only notifications for items you've starred.
