Team Views | Joyous Docs

Every team in Joyous has its own scoped views, giving members a focused workspace for their outcomes and work cards. Instead of sifting through everything in the organization, you can zoom into a single team and see only what's relevant to that group.

Team detail page

Click on any team in the sidebar to open its detail page. The page has two tabs:

Overview tab

The Overview tab is a dashboard for the team's work:

Team Members — A compact row of avatar chips showing who's on the team, with first names for quick identification
Outcomes — A card grid showing all outcomes owned by the team, each with:
- Outcome name and goal description
- Status badge (Backlog, Committed, Done, etc.)
- Progress bar driven by card completion
- Card count and target end date
- Producer avatar for accountability

Members tab

The Members tab provides a full grid view of team members with avatars and names. From here you can:

Add members — Click Add Member to add org members not yet on the team
Remove members — Hover and click the X to remove someone from the team

Team-scoped outcomes

Each team's outcomes page shows only outcomes assigned to that team. Navigate to it from the sidebar by clicking the team name and then selecting outcomes. This scoping is especially useful for organizations with multiple teams — Engineering sees their outcomes, Marketing sees theirs.

Use the team Overview tab for sprint standups and team meetings. It gives everyone a single-page view of all active outcomes with progress and health status.

Team-scoped work cards

Similarly, you can view work cards scoped to a team. This shows all cards across the team's outcomes, giving you a cross-outcome view of the work. Use board view for visual planning or list view for filtering and sorting.

Teams appear in the sidebar with their custom icons and colors. Click a team to jump directly to its detail page. Teams with nested outcomes show their outcome links indented below, creating a navigable tree:

Star a team to pin it to the Favorites section at the top of your sidebar. This is useful if you work across multiple teams and want quick access to the ones you visit most.
